Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Condado was a gastronomic delight intertwined with a pleasant hotel experience. Nestled in the heart of Barcelona, Condado, located on the 8th floor, boasts a large terrace for coffee service-a serene spot to soak in the Spanish sun while savoring your morning brew. The on-site restaurant, The Lounge, offers a delectable American-style breakfast buffet, a perfect blend of flavors to kick-start your day. Each morning, the hotel serves an assorted buffet breakfast in The Garden Lounge, a calming oasis amidst the bustling city. My mornings were elevated by the cuisine and ambiance, setting the tone for a day of exploration. The hotel's proximity to various renowned restaurants like Moncho's Barcelona and Casa Paloma adds a layer of culinary excitement. Although the breakfast was slightly pricey, the quality and variety justified the cost. The nearby dining options, such as La Monda Molleteria and Restaurante Bombilate, offered a diverse culinary landscape to explore. In conclusion, Condado is not only a haven for design enthusiasts like myself but also a paradise for food connoisseurs seeking an authentic taste of Spanish and international fare. My stay was a testament to the hotel's commitment to culinary excellence amidst a backdrop of contemporary Spanish aesthetics.
